Welcome back. The url has changed, but we hope to continue everything else the way it used to be – tormenting you with questions on what matters most, along with the usual typos, grammatical eros and irrelevant information.

The format has changed a bit – 6 questions will be put up once a week (on a Sunday). You can leave your answers in the comments section anytime during the week. And we’ll have the Captain Zattack championships for a period of 3 weeks.

FYI – Captain Zattack Championship: Based on the questions posted for 3 weeks, the person with the maximum right answers will be crowned Captain Zattack!, and your name will feature prominently somewhere on the blog .

ManishA got 6 right. Apologies for one of the videos that could not be viewed. Will fix that.

Answers:

1. Kylie Minogue, the famous hotpants from ‘Spining Around‘.

2. Saira Mohan & Shania Twain. The connect was the idea of a perfect face. Saira Mohan appeared on Newsweek’s famoous cover being referred to as the ‘Perfect Face’. Shania Twain was scientifically proven to have the Perfect Face. The 3rd visual was that of the Golden Decagon Mask, based on the Golden Ratio.

3. Tu vuo fa l’americano. Jude Law along with Rosario Fiorello ( last pic) sang the song in ‘The Talented Mr.Ripley’. The song was originally performed by Renato Carosone (pic 4). Lou Bega has performed a cover version of the song.  Sophia Loren and Clark Gable sang the same song in the film ‘It all started in Naples’. This year there is a remix version of it doing the rounds. link

4.  Opening sequence of Coraline.
